The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India is offering scholarships to Sri Lankan nationals to study Hindi at the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (Central Institute of Hindi), Agra, for the academic session 2021-2022, High Commission of India in Colombo said in a press release.
Applicants are required to have studied Hindi as a subject at G.C.E. A/L or have done beginner or intermediate courses in Hindi or any Hindi course conducted by Universities of Sri Lanka. The minimum age for admission is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years as on 1.4.2021. The selected candidates will be provided return airfare (economy class), stipend, hostel accommodation at nominal charges and an annual book grant.
The application forms can be collected on weekdays between 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m from 10 /3/ 2021 to 19/3/2021 from :
